Our Trumpf 5kw Laser cuts mild steel up to 25mm thick, stainless up to 15mm and aluminium up to 10mm. It has a bed capacity of 4x2m. We also create CAD drawings and reverse engineering solutions.
What is laser cutting?
Laser cutting is a fast, accurate method of cutting almost any shape from a sheet of either Mild steel stainless steel or aluminium sheet. The Laser machine self generates a high-power beam at the workpiece, which penetrates the material creating a cut line at a thickness of 0.25mm.
The laser beam then cuts the material following a CNC program, melting the material as it moves to create shapes quickly and accurately. The pre-programmed parts are then removed from the sheet material by the operator.
